Kate is a native of Walden, and has been oil painting since 1975. She has been a finalist in the New York, Vermont, and Federal migratory waterfowl programs, and exhibitions of her art include three one-woman shows in New Hampshire and Vermont. Previous exhibitions include the Bennington Center for the Arts, the Vermont Institute of Natural Science, the Oil Painters of America's First Eastern Region, and the Bryan Memorial Gallery. Kelly has attended the Governor's Institute of the Arts, Savannah College of Art & Design, Rhode Island School of Design, and has a degree in Visual Communi-cation from Edinburgh College of Art.
